Good morning, 🍋drops!

Well, good morning and happy first day back after a long and wonderful weekend. Today, it's time to get back to our routines and schedules.

But first, I don't know about you, but I need this coffee. Have a cup with me. Let's chat. I want to know what's going on in your world. New projects? New hobby? Have you changed up your routine to something that flows better for you? Whatever it is, tell me about it. It's nice having company for coffee every once in a while.

I had to change some things up this week bc everything got done over the weekend, so today is bathrooms and I told my husband I would finish up the laundry for him. Seriously, if I didn't always have a project going, I would probably be bored. I keep up on everything to the point that there's not much for me to do during the day anymore. That's why I keep projects and hobbies.

Ok, I have a great topic of the day today, which I will post later on. I figured we'd stick with the Fall theme since it's basically upon us and we need to be ready for the season change.

I've been changing up my routine a lot lately. Like I said, things are always pretty much done so it doesn't leave me a lot to do during the day. Used to be, always has beena time when I'd get up, open the curtains, make up the bed. Now, I sleep in 15 extra minutes, then get the boy off to school, come back in, open the curtains, make coffee, sit at the kitchen island, enjoy my coffee and a quiet morning, get on Lemon8, and then I'll go make up my bed. (Now, if you're struggling to learn a routine and build new habits, if you are new to homemaking, don't do this.) I am kinda obsessive about things and I cannot get into an unmade bed at night or look at an unmade bed all day, so I do get it done as soon as I have had my coffee.

Once you're a seasoned homemaker, it doesn't hurt to change up your routine every once in a while. When we're home all day most days, things can get mundane. Finds ways to keep it romantic and flowing that work for you.
