Steamed Garlic Scallops with Vermicelli!
Simple, but yet tasty recipe!
Ingredients required:
2 tsp of sugar
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp light soy sauce
Vermicelli
Scallops
Minced garlic
Steps:
1. Mince 3 cloves of garlic
2. In a bowl, mix together the sugar, blackpepper, salt and light soy sauce
3. Soak vermicelli in a bowl of water for around 10 minutes
4. Drain the water from the vermicelli and layer it in a steaming plate. Layer scallops over it. Sprinkle a dash of black pepper and salt over each scallop, followed by the minced garlic
5. Steam on high heat for 6 minutes
6. Heat up 1 tbsp of hot oil and pour over the vermicelli before serving.
7. (Optional): If you prefer it to be more fragrant, add in 1 tsp of sesame oil too!
