Functional core exercises build strength and stability in a way that is relevant to your daily life or training.
Most functional core exercises focus on activating the core muscles, increasing stability in the surrounding muscles, and progressively strength training the core muscles.
This is my go-to functional core circuit:
~ Kettlebell Pass Around- 10 Each Direction
~ Overhead Kettlebell Marches- 10 Each Hand
~ Bear Crawl Drag- 10 Each direction.
Rest for 60 seconds in between & then repeat.
Repeat the circuit 3x through.
*Focus on keeping your core tight throughout all these movements. Slow & controlled movements!
