I love training my core on upper body days, but lately I have gotten bored with doing the same core workouts over and over. I started attending Pilates classes and loved the core work they interpreted into the sessions, and decided to build my own Pilates inspired floor core workout.

The best part about this circuit is you don’t need to pay for a class or have any equipment to do it!

This workout engages your deep core, or the inside of your core because throughout each exercise you want to be thinking about pulling your belly button in towards your spine.

The movements are as follows:

1. Elevated Toe Taps (for 1 min)

2. Straight Leg Toe Taps (for 1 min)

3. Dead Bugs (for 1 min)

4. Mountain Climbers (for 1 min)

5. Low Plank (for 1 min)

Repeat this circuit for 3 rounds totaling a 15 minute workout.

Remember, training core is just one aspect to toning your stomach- the other components are doing cardio while engaging your core and eating a clean diet!
