Why I Decided Not to Have Kids 👶❌

It’s not just me, my partner and I both decided that having kids isn’t part of our life plan, and we’re happier for it! Here’s why we made this choice as a team:

1. Personal Freedom: WE want to focus on my passions, career, and exploring the world without feeling tied down. 🥹

2. Financial Priorities: Raising a child in Singapore is a significant financial commitment, childcare, education, and daily expenses add up quickly.

Instead of spending on raising a child, we want to build a financially secure future together whether it’s for early retirement, starting a business, or investing in experiences that bring us joy. 💼

3. Emotional Readiness: I realized I’m not emotionally ready for the responsibilities that come with parenting, and that’s okay. Being honest with myself was the best thing I could do.

4. More Time for Each Other: Without the added stress of parenting, we have more quality time to nurture our relationship and enjoy life as a couple. 👩‍❤️‍👨

It’s not a decision that everyone will agree with, everyone’s journey is different, and this is what feels right for us.

It’s about creating the life we want, not the life that’s expected.
