Why having kids is NOT FOR US🚩

Its completely normal & NOT WRONG to Not want kids. Not everyone is meant to be a parent & not everyone wants that lifestyle. Here are some reasons why I don't EVER want kids:

1. Dont like them

I never liked kids, babies, toddlers~ just like how some ppl don't like dogs, i dont like kids & nothing is gonna change that! You'll definitely get comments like " mayb u hvnt found the right person yet " or " still young ". Im already 24 if i really wanted them i would be trying for a house so i can settle by 29🙃

Don't be afraid to tell people that nothing is going to change your mind! Boundaries & expectations have to be set esp if your parents or partner's parents want grandchildren. You don't bring a child into the world just so they can come over once a week to carry them.

2. I don't want to be a mother

I don't want to wake up everyday to a baby crying, i don't want to have sleepless nights because i have to feed & watch the baby. I don't want to plan my routine around a kid, sending/dropping them at school. I just don't want to be a mother, i'm not interested to raise someone & its not about $$ either, if i have $50 million now, i still will never have kids.

3. Freedom to travel

You can't travel freely if you have kids, your plans, accomodations will have to fit a kid-friendly holiday. I also want to be able to just book & go without worrying where the kid is gonna go or who is gonna watch it.

4. Keep your r/s alive

Marriage doesnt really bring two people closer, in fact a lot more problem arises because now you realise you have to deal with it no matter what. Some people are also not as hands on or clean & their mindset towards raising a child might be different from yours. How many couples have you seen complaining about each other because they feel that they arent contributing or helping enough.

5. Career Progression & financial freedom!

Being in your 30s is like being in your 20s but with money! But if you have a kid, that kid is gonna use up wtv extra you have saved throughout & you can just watch your friends enjoy while you have to always put your child first.

If you want to grow your career, you would probably be putting work first & don't mind the occasional overtime~ thats gonna change if you have to rush home everyday.
