DELICIOUS CRISPY MOCHI SNACK FOR $1 😋

Was at Donki (Waterway Point) with my friend the other day and saw this dried mochi slices for only $1???? IMMEDIATELY ADDED TO MY SHOPPING BASKET because I’ve been wanting to try this snack idea for the longest time ever.

It was a quick painless process, just a lot of waiting involved. I loved how crispy they turned out! Putting the recipe here:

• Cut the mochi slices into your desired size

• Place on parchment paper and bake at 100 deg celsius for 5 mins (they should curl up)

• Up the temperature to 180 deg celsius and bake for 5 more mins

• In a little saucer, add sugar, soy sauce and some water (quantity is up to you but I added slightly <1/2 tbsp of sugar; 1 tbsp soy sauce; 2 tbsp water)

• Bake for another 10-15 min at 180 deg celsius and let it cool before serving
