Today I’ll be sharing a super easy homemade bagel recipe that you can easily make at home, with airfryer, you may use an oven too but I don’t have it so airfryer it is!

Ingredient🥣:
High gluten flour 300g
Water 150g
Yeast 3g
Salt a pinch
Steps🧑🏻🍳:
1. Yeast mix: add 3g of yeast to 50g water, seal & set aside for 5min until tiny bubbles are form on the surface
2. Flour mix: 300g high gluten flour + salt, mix well
3. Flour mix + yeast mix + 100g water — mix well with a chopstick/fork, then with hands combine everything into a rough dough
4. Rest the rough dough for 10min
5. Continue to knead the dough until smooth
6. Separate into 6 parts
7. Roll into balls and shape the bagel!!! (My fav part)
8. Ferment the dough (most important part) 1. You may seal the dough and place in refrigerator overnight OR 2. place at a warm place until dough ferment to 1.5-2x its size.
9. Preheat oven/airfryer 180deg
10. Cook the bagel: Boil water + 1 tsp sugar (for colour) + 1tsp baking soda
11. add in bagel and cook 30s each side
12. Place cooked bagel into preheated airfryer (180deg, 16min) remember to flip side in between, observe the colour.
