Flat shoes allow you to push through the heel, and activate hamstrings and glutes properly. If you want to work on quads, use a wedge or a weight under your heels.
🩸Cycle Tracking
Knowing my energy fluctuations. Even if I have my routine, and I’m “supposed” to do a certain muscle group or lift heavy, I give myself grace knowing where I am in my cycle. When I don’t feel up to it, I walk on an incline or do something light to stay active.
🧢 Comfortable + Confident Outfit
Sometimes I want to wear the cutest outfit, others I wear the baggiest shirt and a sweatshirt. If I’m bloated or on my period, I’m not going to want anything uncomfortable. When I feel good in what I’m wearing, I can translate that into my workout with confidence.
🥗 Eating
Eating good fresh food. Herbs, fresh vegetables, a lean source of protein is the best. If I don’t season it enough I’ll dress it up with a sauce so I can enjoy it.
🥤 Pre-Workout
A must have for my gym sash. I am so busy and when it comes to it, a usually need a little push shutting off my brain, and being able to focus on what I’m doing for the next hour. I love to take pre workout.
