this quaint hawker stall turned restaurant facing bedok reservoir park serves up some authentic japanese soba with fusion flavors. overall, the soba here really tasted really homemade and comforting, though i would say the portions can be a little small. but i’ll definitely be back for more, and to try out their sides! they also have set meals from $28 which comes with soba and sushi/ tempura 😋 you can check out the menu here.

🍜 Reiwa Pork Soba, $12

i loved that the soba was served with this chilli oil sauce instead of the traditional sauce that made the soba taste so unique, almost like a japanese-szechuan fusion dish! the chilli oil is not that spicy, but enough to satisfy those who crave a hint of spice in their soba

🍜 Kake Soba, $10

this unassuming hot soba may seem rather plain but the broth made the whole dish so warm and comforting! what i loved was that the broth didnt taste too salty, and it tasted so good paired with chilli flakes. kinda wished there was more ingredients in the dish tho besides the fishcakes and seaweed
