Did you know you can travel to Japan while staying in SG? π―π΅ The serene Japanese garden in the photos look so convincing you can barely tell it's actually on top of Pan Pacific Singapore! π
The restaurant is called Keyaki and they serve authentic Japanese cuisine ranging from teppanyaki, soba, sashimi, soba, makimono, etc. It's been on my go-to list for so long, so I decided to have my birthday lunch here. π
When I first stepped into the Keyaki garden I could already sense a change in the atmosphere, it felt peaceful up there. The greeneries and the Japanese traditional house 'minka' make the perfect background for OOTD pictures! π―
I made the right decision to wear a in sage green pleated dress from Claude cause it matched the scene perfectly! π₯° P.S. It's called the Ula Dress, and they just opened their first flagship store in Singapore at Takashimaya Ngee Ann City B1-15.
Food was pretty good but not very memorable, and as expected prices were on the higher end. Here's what we ordered:
π¦ Whole Lobster (with mentai sauce) $26/100gram - they only have the 600gr+ lobsters, tastes really nice but might not be worth it?
π Tempura Soba $26 - you can choose either udon or soba, soup is very comforting, love how their tempuras were fried crispy on the outside but chewy inside.
π₯© Gyuniku Amiyaki (US beef) $35 - tender, juicy but portion was a bit small, best paired with:
π Garlic Fried Rice $9
π£ Spider Maki $18
The place is perfect for celebrating special occasions and taking aesthetic photos, food-wise you can get better someplace else, but it's still worth visiting once!
Recommend to book a week in advance as even on a weekday noon the place was full!
