When I first did Bulgarians, I couldn’t use any weight, I had to simply do body weight and go from there. Now I carry 50lbs dumbbells on each side!
It’s all about practice, the more you do these, the more progress and gains you’ll see from them. I love to do these during every leg day and I’ll do 3 sets of 6-8 reps.
