Biomed student internship experience!

I'm currently a 3rd year Biomedical Science student and doing my internship for my very last semester! Here's my experience :)

✒️ I'm in the research field! We do tons of testing and experiementation on different types of samples and with a lot of different chemicals :0

✒️ Since I'm only an intern, we can't handle human/animal samples directly. But we can still observe mice experiments and take notes on how human samples are handled + processed! (personally i find scrubs very comfy too 🤭)

✒️ As an intern, we get to do the smaller experiments that will help our other researchers in their processes. Thus, we get to do things like gel electrophoresis and DNA extraction! I'm still 1 month in so there isn't much I've done yet :)

I hope this gives a little glimpse of what a Biomedical Science student does for our internship!!
