day in my life: summer intern at shopee ☀️

what do i do at my current internship? i’ve done quite a few marketing internships and i decided to take a leap of faith and try out a completely new role with a completely new job scope for my summer!

my job role is essentially a business product manager! what a business product manager does is to facilitate communications between product team and business teams in order to plan feature release schedules and internal communications for these releases 💻🗓️

my manager comes in at a later timing so i arrive around 10+ everyday as well! official working timing is 930 - 630 but i observed everyone comes in around 10 so… i guess its free and easy for everyone 😬

normally at work i have a few meetings here and there throughout the day and in the remaining time im working on my allocated internship tasks and helping out my manager on her tasks as well 🫶🏻 i try to sneak in a little gym session more often now that i technically have a free membership here at shopee so 🏋️ at least by the end of my internship i will be slightly fitter

anyways, this is only the third week of my internship so there’s definitely more to learn for my next 8 weeks 🫣
