hey zesties!!! hope you guys are enjoying your weekend~~~
today, i wanted to share with you guys this laksa place which my dad highly recommended was very popular back in his day and wanted to bring us there :) sharing more details if you guys are laksa lovers:
π27 Jln Berseh, #01 -100, Singapore 200027
It is rated 4.2 on Google with over 2000+ reviews - I knew i had to give this a try ~
1οΈβ£ Come early!!
β’ Apparently this place is super crowded - if you look at my photo queues already started to form around 11!!! We went at 11.30 and we had to queue around 20 minutes π«
2οΈβ£ One bowl of laksa for only $4
β’ Imo, $4 is pretty affordable! Apparently this shop used to sell 1 bowl for $1 but i guess inflation over the years π₯² But just a note that the portion isn't very generous - so if you are a heavy eater I would suggest you to order 2 bowls! We saw other patrons doing the same as well.
3οΈβ£ Cooked with Old school method
β’ I was surprised when I saw them cooking the broth with charcoal! This was really interesting because it was truly old school :b
Overall, I would rate this place a 4/5!!! I liked the broth as it had a nice coconut taste; but it's not like the katong laksa kind! It also very affordable so thats a plus point for me~
Do give it a try if you're around the area ^_^
