🇯🇵 Torikizoku 鳥貴族 🍢🍺 Cheap Izakaya - ¥360/item

Torikizoku is a chain of yakitori restaurant / izakaya that has many branches across Tokyo and Osaka.

Everything is fixed price, 360 yen (tax included) per item when I last visited the Ueno, Tokyo outlet in May 2023. The previous time I dined at Torikizoku was back in 2019 in Osaka, and I recall it was only 300 yen per item or something.

They’ve got a good variety of yakitori (usually 2 skewers per item), fried food, and even pot rice. For the yakitori you could choose between shio or tare seasoning. Everything is 360 yen. Even the alcoholic drinks are also the same price!

They provide an iPad with English menu. You may have to queue for a while to get in.

Taste wise I would say it’s decent, though some items are quite salty, but I’d say overall it offers a lot of value for the price you pay.

Total damage for 2 pax: 3600 yen for 10 items
