Hey friends! Believe me, this place is truly magical and mesmerizing. It's one of those places that you must visit at least once in your lifetime! Hallstatt is nestled between towering mountains, crystal-clear lakes, and lush forests. The combination of these natural elements creates a stunning landscape that's truly unforgettable and absolutely breathtaking. It is really like you've stepped into a fairytale world!! 🦄🎡

As the hotel is quite pricey during Xmas time, I decided to just do a day trip and it’s WORTH IT!

Here are the places you can visit in A DAY:

1. Marktplatz

2. Classic Village Viewpoint

3. Skywalk

4. Hallstatt Salt Mine

5. Hallstatt Museum

6. Restaurant at Seehotel Grüner Baum (HIGHLY recommended!! Must book earlier)

How to get there from Vienna:

1. OBB train from Vienna to Attnang-Puchheim (2.5 to 3 hours)

2. Transfer to the Hallstatt train from Attnang-Puchheim (1 hour)- offers stunning views of the Austrian Alps!!

3. Ferry from Hallstatt train station to Hallstatt town across the lake (15 mins)

The town is full of charming and colourful buildings. It's like walking through a postcard or stepping back in time to a quaint village from a bygone era. It's truly a must-visit place that will leave you with memories that last a lifetime!!
