🇦🇹AUSTRIA: IS HALLSTATT OVERHYPED?🤔

My answer is NO!! It was so so so beautiful and we were blown away by the views 😍 do note that it does get touristy esp in the afternn

➡️Sharing our 1 day itinerary below (with time stamps!)

845AM - set off from Salzburg and drove to Hallstatt

10AM - reached Hallstatt

1015AM - bought salt mine tickets

1030AM - took funicular up

1115AM - started salt mine tour, took a bit of time to wait for our turn for the salt mine tour & we had to change clothes as well!

1PM - ended salt mine tour, headed to skywalk

✅tip: skip the salt mine tour if you have limited time and just get the funicular tickets up to the skywalk

145PM - headed down

2PM - found a cafe beside the lake and we were so lucky to get seats by the lake!! Seecafé Hallstatt

230PM - didn’t realized we finished lunch so fast 😂; explored the picturesque town, ate some gelato 🍨and were just soaking in the beautiful views

4PM - left as it was starting to get crowded with tourists

5.30PM - reached Designer Outlet Salzburg and bought my hiking pole there!
