progress not perfection ✨

when we try to strive for perfection, we lose sight of the progress we’ve made and the fact that we are actually pretty dope with our imperfect selves. 😉 

although i’ve learned a lot about myself and have come a long way when it comes to my mental health, i still get caught up in the cycle of perfectionism.

while making this sweatshirt, i kept moving the patches around and almost opted out on doing it at all because the ‘k’ wasn’t the same size as the others— i can go on but i’m sure you get my point.

give yourself grace and the permission to omit the self criticism and the critiquing of the things you do and make— you may be surprised and actually see how great you really are!
