Super easy to make and packed with protein! Crunchy, healthy and delicious🫰🏻
Ingredients:
• 1lb of ground chicken
• Salt, pepper garlic powder and paprika
• 1 egg
• 1/2 cup of oat flour
• 1/2 cup of plain breadcrumbs
• 1 tsp of salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder
• Avocado oil in spray @chosenfoods
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F
2. In a bowl, add the ground chicken, 1 egg, salt, pepper, garlic powder and paprika to taste. Mix until well combined.
3. Gently form into nuggets shape (get your fingers wet to prevent from sticking) I made 12 nuggets.
4. Freeze the chicken nuggets for 20 minutes to firm up.
5. In a plate, mix together the oat flour, plain breadcrumbs and seasonings.
6. Coat the nuggets with the breadcrumbs mixture and place them on a baking sheet with parchment paper.
7. Spray them with avocado oil spray and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown. I suggest to flip them after 10-12 minutes so they’re golden brown on both sides.
8. Enjoy with barbecue sauce or ketchup!👌🏻
