Now that summer is officially here, don’t let your basil go to waste and preserve it in olive oil in the freezer!

Not only is this a great way to keep basil lasting all year long, but it is as also an easy way to add flavor boosters to salad dressing, soups, pasta, and sauces! Once you starting doing this, you’ll be freezing all of your fresh herbs in olive oil!

Ingredients 🛒

• 1 bunch of basil

• 1/2 cup Extra virgin olive oil

Directions ✍️

• Finely chop basil, then add to ice cube tray. About 1 tbsp per cube.

• Pour enough oil to cover the cube.

• Place the tray into the freezer.

• Remove basil cubes and place into a freezer bag.
