how to make basil oil 🌱

FRESH BASIL OIL—only 2 ingredients, plus the perfect way to use up fresh basil as summer comes to an end🌿

Recipe

- First, blanch 1 cup of fresh basil. You’re going to add it to boiling water for just 30 seconds and then transfer it right to an ice bath. This will preserve the bright green color for the oil!

- Pat dry the basil and add to a blender, along with 1 cup of olive oil.

- Blend until smooth (30 seconds).

- Strain and transfer to a pour spout or oil dispenser bottle!

- Store in the fridge and enjoy for up to 3 weeks :)
