📍Three Meals a Day - best Salted Egg Chicken Rice

@home.3mealsaday is a hidden gem located at Sim Lim Square. 3 Meals A Day 一日三餐 opened up last year and they are famous for their 𝑺𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝑬𝒈𝒈 𝑫𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒅 𝑪𝒉𝒊𝒄𝒌𝒆𝒏 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑹𝒊𝒄𝒆. This is my favorite Salted Egg Chicken Rice in Singapore. This is much better than the stall next door (the owner used to run the store next door). I felt the quality of the one next door has gone down over the years.

The Salted Egg Chicken Rice ($6.50) at 3 Meals a Day is crispy despite being drenched generously in salted egg sauce. The chicken is well coated with batter but isn’t too thick which I love. The sauce is on the sweeter side but it is balanced out with the chili padi and curry leaves. They only serve perfectly runny fried sunny side-ups for an additional $0.60. Worth a try and skip the stall next door.
