~Homemade Tortillas ~

these were honestly some of the best tortillas I've ever had! and they're not hard to make at all (but do take a little time)

mix 3 cups flour, with 1 tableapoons of baking powder & 2 teaspoons of salt

melt 1/2 cup unsalted butter in 1 cup of water, mix until butter is completely melted into water & add to flour mixture while it's still warm

mix until the dough comes together, then kneed it into a smooth ball

cover with plastic for 10-15min

separate the dough into equal size pieces and roll into balls

cover with plastic another 10 minutes

flour surface and roll out dough

heat pan over medium heat & cook tortilla

once you see bubbles form flip tortilla

enjoy your delicious tortillas!
