INGREDIENTS:
๐ฎ 3 cups all-purpose flour
๐ฎ 1 tsp salt
๐ฎ 1 tsp baking powder
๐ฎ 1/3 cup vegetable or canola oil (I used olive oil too and turned out great)
๐ฎ 1 cup hot water
INSTRUCTIONS:
1.) in a large bowl mix together flour, salt and baking powder.
2.) add in oil and whisk until resembles course crumbs
3.) add in water and knead with hands until dough forms
4.) flour a clean surface and form roughly 16 even balls from dough. Once balls are formed flatten a little bit with knuckle or hand. Cover with tea towel and the balls rest for 15min-1 hr
5.) once ready to cook, put a medium sized skillet on medium heat
5.) with a rolling pin you will roll out a ball and place it in pan for 1 min. Once you see little bubbles form (about 1 min) you will flip. 30 sec on second time and then place in a warm towel.
6.) repeat the process till all balls become yummy soft tortillas
