I use to be the type to take everything so personally.

Every tone shift and body language

Every time my friends had plans that didn’t include me

“Omg what did I do wrong 😑 “

“ Are we not friends anymore?”

I’d spend all day thinking about what I could’ve done to upset them. I walked on eggshells , trying my best to be perfect.

I’d bend over backwards trying to prove my worth in relationships and in friendships so that no one would ever want to leave me.

I was overthinking every situation that occurred

I was very insecure, self- critical and always subconsciously searching for proof that other people thought the same.

I took things so personally and so hard, because I was incredibly hard on myself.

When I learned how to overcome this…. I experienced a freedom I hadn’t before.
