Why I got an epidural

At first I was actually really scared of taking an epidural but I was really open to taking one if I felt I needed it. As it was my first time giving birth I didn’t have any idea of how it was going to be, the only advice I ever received was to stay calm and to not think the worse. When the nurse told me I wasn’t dilating and that I could just be really scared she recommended that I get an epidural, for me it was a good choice.
