Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl

Salmon poke is one of my fav things in the world, but sushi grade salmon is so much less available than tuna is for me. Tuna is a close second, and soooo cheap in the frozen section!

✨All I do is toss cubed thawed raw ahi tuna with soy sauce, sesame oil, rice wine vinegar, sriracha and sesame seeds. I throw in whatever veg I have on hand and top it all off with furikake and a squeeze of kewpie & sriracha. Base is extra sushi rice from dinner last night, but instant rice or even spinach/kale work well too!!

✨A frozen pack of about 3 portions of tuna is around $5 at Trader Joe’s or Aldi (in my area). I only use one in my poke!!! Rice, veg, and pantry staples included, I’d say for $10 you could make 3-4 of these easily. Amazing for quick protein packed lunches!!!! #lunchideas #unaesthetic #pokebowl
