Settling into University Abroad✨

I always knew that I’d want to study abroad since I’m doing art & culture studies. But I was not prepared for how difficult living alone in the UK 🇬🇧 would be. Especially since it’s not in the main city, London. Not only am I totally not used to the cold and dry but somehow wet weather, I also did not really know how to properly cook my favourite Singaporean meals.

And was not ready for the difficulty of living alone and getting things done without people around. Having ADHD, I often find it difficult to complete tasks without some sort of body doubling. Plus finding motivation to get anything done…

Anyways, if you’re thinking of going to UK🇬🇧, especially Leeds , to study, just keep these tips in mind and learn from my experiences :)
