The secret? Self care and self love.
In today's fast paced world, it's crucial to take a step back and prioritise self care to sustain your mental well being.
Iโve spoken to friends and many times a lot of them do not know where to begin. Every little action you do for yourself makes an impact. And if you do not know where to begin, here are some ideas that will help you along in nurturing your mind, body, and soul. Remember, self care is not selfish โ it's a vital part of living a fulfilling and balanced life!
๐ ๐ถ๐ป๐ฑ๐ณ๐๐น ๐ ๐ผ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐: Start each day with a moment of mindfulness. Whether it's through meditation, journaling, or simply sipping a cup of tea, embrace the present moment and set your intentions for the day ahead. Cultivating a peaceful mindset can positively impact your overall well being.

๐ก๐ผ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ต ๐ฌ๐ผ๐๐ฟ ๐๐ผ๐ฑ๐: Treat your body like a temple by nourishing it with wholesome foods. Fuel up with nourishing meals packed with fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Remember to hydrate yourself throughout the day and indulge in occasional sweet treats to satisfy your cravings. I know this point calls for a lot of discipline but it makes a difference when you are able to show up for yourself but also be kind to yourself - i donโt stress myself so much on this, but will try to make a conscious decision to stick by this whenever I can.
๐ ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ฎ๐ ๐ ๐ฒ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ: Find joy in movement! Engage in activities that make you feel alive, whether it's dancing, yoga, or going for a scenic hike. The key is to find a form of exercise that resonates with you and makes you feel energised and vibrant. I personally enjoy long walks to breakfast places, and pilates reformer.

Engaging in creative pursuits allows you to channel your emotions, reduce stress, and discover new facets of yourself. Psst: whenever I find myself really overwhelmed with emotions I turn to writing to pen down my thoughts and emotions and it works wonders.
๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ด๐ฒ: Prioritise quality sleep to recharge your body and mind. Create a soothing bedtime routine, free from screens, and indulge in relaxation techniques like reading a book or taking a warm bath. Give yourself the gift of restful nights for a refreshed start each day. I stick by a minimum 7h sleep schedule daily and Iโm pretty strict about it!
