@Lemon8 Food Have you ever foraged your own food? Planted a garden and watched the fruit grow from it?

Growing up I took Gardening lessons and joined garden club. 🌷 and when I lived in Texas I raised my own little harvest of fruits and vegetables. Moving to a large city,where gardening is otherwise taboo and the soil is harsh…I found it pointless to invest in and partake in my pastime.

About two hours outside of the city,I found this beautiful slice of heaven,nestled in the middle of absolutely nowhere. Miles of crop farming,corn,pumpkins,apples,pears,peaches and more.

My best friend (❤️) and I decided to pick out our very own fruits. During our walk,we uncovered and chose from a bountiful harvest. The green apples were spilling with perfect green little gems. The red delicious apples were sweet,juicy and large. Coming here made me fall in love with apples all over again. 🍎

it was hard to pick from the golden delicious apples. Those were attacked by the nature and bugs more than any other apple. Granny Smith being the least attacked due to the sour taste…However,the few little ones we found turned out so sweet and delicious.

The further we walked into the orchard,the more apples we found. Branches and branches covered in apples,weighed down by them.

Although this experience may not seem so important or interesting…you just had to be there. I couldn’t stop smiling,and it felt so rewarding to bite into something I picked by hand myself. My love for gardening was re-awakened…and I’ve now decided that when I move into my new home next week,gardening is one of the hobbies I will continue to pursue.

To anyone who has never been to an apple orchard,I HIGHLY recommend you do it. 100/10 ⭐️
