review of SWEET POTATO 🍠 pon de rings

yall know im mister donut’s number one fan but these sweet potato pon de rings… uh stick around for the review....

i visited Mister Donut @ Northpoint City at about 4pm and ordered the daigaku imo pon de ring. ate my donut almost immediately! however it wasn’t as chewy as before and it didn’t rlly taste like anything…

there’s a sugar glaze outside topped with some sesame seeds. purple sweet potato flavor was notably absent, although it did dye the pon de ring a gorgeous purple color…

however you really can’t compare to the dipped pon de rings like the chocolate and strawberry ones. overall it was meh. #NotForMe

hopefully the benitenshi cream donuts releasing on 8 oct will be much better!
