Help⚠️ How to survive at male dominated workplace?

Do anyone encounter any barrier to work in male dominated work environment??

Not sure about others, it's a real struggle for me... as my previous job was female dominated work environment & I prefer that...

Pls share with me how u guys survive in male environment? 😅

I struggle especially for below cases;

1) When I am on my monthly cramp and need to inform my supervisor, I usually informed as stomach cramp lol. I dont think he get it, he will ask me like u gt food poison or wat 😅 and when I'm back to office my male colleagues will ask me like wat happened to u, are u ok. Honestly I duno hw to respond... If my day1 falls on wkends, I'm safe from all these qns lol

2) I used to hav lunch out with them but not anymore. No #GirlsTalk subject haha so yeah I rather eat alone and lemon8 or do other meaningful stuff during my lunch break. I like to be #productive 😬 And it's exhausting to please ppl when u're nt even interested in their topic!

3) Discrimination during pregnancy & maternity leaves? I hav no kids yet but I started thinking abt it & worried over this 😅 They wont understand when u have morning sickness & feeling unwell throughout the day although their wives might alr went through it. When it comes to work, they might not be happy to cover ur workloads in additional to their work (quite a busy work enviroment we hav, so I couldn't blame them as well but I dont wan to be discriminated over this)

4) It can be quite competitive at work cuz I'm the only female in my team and I wanna show that we female can do well too 😝 I dont wan them to think that female usually need to rely on male & need to be helped by male☝️😌 *no no*

No offend, but we female can lead the proj too~

Am I the only one overthinking or do u guys face these kind of struggles at male dominated workplace as well? Let's share & help each other if u hav any good advice 😬
