want to be an e-girl on twitch? read my experience

This is part 1 of this series where i share with you what is it like to be a streamer, how i got my first break and how was it like when i started! 🤗

📹 Why did i start streaming? 📹

C'mon it was literally quarantine period... we all had nothing to do at home.. and valorant (game) looked so fun and I have always loved gaming since young (handheld) till i got a laptop to try some PC games haha! I also bought a whole ass PC to stream... (the impulse driver in me was definitely driving)

🤐 How was it like when I first started? 🤐

If you are a nobody, don't expect to have alot of views!!! I remember how i confidently press "go live" on my first day because i knew i wasn't going to get views haha. It's not like tiktok or lemon8 where you can get organic traction, if you have 0 views, you will automatically be ranked at the bottom.

🧚🏻‍♀️ How did i get my first break? 🧚🏻‍♀️

It was this one slient stream i was doing on valorant, i had literally 2 views (me and my bf that i was playing with...) haha then came a raid of 51 people!!! I will always remember her and her kindness towards me, she's clara (declaration_). Raids are when you end your stream you send your audience to another streamer you would like to support. I was so so thankful for that and she even encouraged her viewers to drop me a follow because to get people to subscribe to you, you have to hit 50, and at that point i had like 42?

She was adorable asking like "8 more!!" "Better Follow her" haha it was an amazing time and i will always remember that moment.

🐝 What was my favourite part of streaming? 🐝

Being able to make new friends (all around the world) and really stepping outside of my comfort zone. It was not easy to feel like you want to stream each day, it's quite socially taxing and you just might not have that energy each day.
