Render vs Reality - Kitchen

𝟯𝗗 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘃𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 | 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝟱/𝟵 - 𝗞𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗻

Finally unveiling our full kitchen view! 👩🏻‍🍳🍳

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲:

🤎 Top & bottom carpentry for both sides of the kitchen

—> maximises storage

—> minimises clutter

—> non-exposed kitchenware = no need to dust them + no need to worry about grease getting all over them when cooking

🤎 Apart from the cabinet under the sink, we opted for drawers for the rest of the bottom carpentry to enhance the ease of use - absolutely no regrets for the top up required!

🤎 Induction stove > gas stove (this has been a game changer!)

—> as it is just a flat surface, cleaning has been a breeze

—> doubles up as extra countertop space for preparation of food

—> doubles up as additional dish drying space

🤎 Installation of power track on the left

—> as this side of the kitchen is where most appliances will go, the power track allows us to place the appliances anywhere we want

🤎 Overhead dish rack’s height customised to the shortest household member’s height so that it can be used comfortably, which explains the drop down on the top carpentry

—> able to reach dish rack door without tip-toeing

—> able to see what’s on the lower rack clearly

🤎 Service yard door to fold to the right instead of the left

—> our ID suggested this change to accommodate our fridge door’s opening, but this has also unexpectedly given us a more efficient service yard layout (more on this next time!)

1️⃣ thing we overlooked in the kitchen is the installation of a fan

—> thankfully, we get a lot of wind from our service yard window, so we don’t get affected on most days

—> on heavy cooking days when we close the kitchen & service yard doors and it gets stuffy, we use a portable fan that’s been serving us really well so far :)

—> nonetheless, we still think it’s good to install a fan in the kitchen so do take note if you are renovating! 🙌🏻
