I’m not sure why I took SO LONG TO air fry my salmon! I think Cus I’ve been pan frying my salmon which is super easy anyway so the extra motivation wasnt there BUT this is even easier and brainless.

No need to flip salmon halfway or anything like that - just dump and air fry. Best part is no oil splatters to worry about cus if you’ve pan fried salmon you know that the oil splatters are real.

Keeping this recipe purposefully simple with the seasoning, but as long as you use dry rubs, you’ll get the crispy skin.

what you need:

- 230g salmon with skin on

- olive oil

- salt & pepper

Directions:

1. Preheat air fryer at 180degC for 5 mins.

2. Pat salmon dry with paper towels.

2. Liberally apply oil on both sides of salmon and season with salt and pepper (or seasoning of choice).

3. Place salmon skin side up, and air fry for 12-15 mins. The timing depends on thickness of your salmon steak, but generally this 12-15 min time frame has worked for me for different sizes of salmon don’t ask me what science this it. That’s it! Salmon is cooked when it flakes easily.
