Nourish Bowls can work for everyone, no matter your dietary preferences 👩🍳. For this yummy nourish bowl, the Trader Joe’s Green Goddess dressing was the STAR ⭐️ of the show.
STEP 1: pick yo greens🥬
- Start off with a base of leafy greens - massaged kale, sautéed spinach, romaine, arugula, etc.
STEP 2: load up with veggies/carbs + protein + healthy fats🍠🍗🍳🥑
- Veggies/carbs: roasted, raw, or grilled - the more veggies, the merrier!
- Protein: you can go with animal proteins like fish or chicken, or keep it vegetarian/vegan and go with eggs, quinoa, chickpeas, tempeh, etc.
- Healthy fats: don’t sleep on extra (and necessary) goodies like avocado, tahini, and nuts - they’re good for your heart, give you energy, and keep you feeling satisfied
