24 hours in NYC for first timers 🏙️

We recently spent 24 hours in a rainy NYC for our first time visiting the city! So put on your raincoat and grab your umbrella and let's explore! ☔️

We spent a little while walking around Manhattan and seeing Times Square, the Empire State Building, and headed over to Central Park. PRO TIP: If you're looking for a bathroom, go into Macy's!

Next, head into the financial district and walk down Wall Street, see Alexander Hamilton's grave at Trinity Church, and eat at Fraunces Tavern for lunch.

Spend the rest of your time in Brooklyn and Dumbo, two really cute and less hectic neighborhoods. Walk the Brooklyn Bridge, take pictures at the iconic view of Manhattan Bridge in Dumbo, eat a bagel from Court Street Bagels and a slice of pizza from Front Street Pizza, and grab a coffee to go from White Noise.

We stayed at the Aloft in Brooklyn for one night, which was a good location in Brooklyn and an easy subway ride to JFK the next day!
