Too many choices at Onion Anguk but too little time and stomach space? ๐คฏ Sadly I didnโt try everything at this popular cafe in seoul but over my 2 visits, I concluded that these are my top picks:
1. Pistachio Croissant: Coated with a layer of pistachio flavoured icing with chunks of pistachio inside, this was really pistachio overload ๐ The nutty flavour was strong and not artificial at all. Though the croissant was towards the flakey type, I enjoyed the strong buttery taste. It also wasnโt too sweet which is a major plus.
2. Pesto Pizza: Will highly recommend getting a savoury bread to go along with the other pastries as it can get a bit jelat after awhile with all the sweets.
3. Pandoro: Signature pastry everyone must try! Some may find this a lil plain because there isnโt any filling inside but personally enjoyed the texture this alot. The icing on top was purely for aesthetics idt anyone will eat it tbhโฆ

Other pastries we tried were โ matcha scone, squid ink bread and ansel chou chou (pastry with cream puff on top) but it didnโt quite match up to our first visitโs orders. Shoutout to their americano !!! โ๏ธ the only one I probably will ever enjoy. Iโm usually not a fan but theirs is really light and easy to drink. Tip: go around 10am to beat the afternoon tea crowd and get the tatami seats near the entrance ~
