LEARNING HOW TO CATCH WAVES IN BALI 🏄🏼‍♂️

learnt how to surf for the first time ytd and let me tell you.. it was so frkn fun!!! 😭 it went better than expected and best of all.. we only paid ~SGD $22 for 2.5 hours (so worth it imo!) 🥺 we booked through airbnb and it was a semi private lesson which comes with a personal professional and experience instructor. 1 instructor is being paired with 2 students and this allows you to get the personal attention, safety and feedback you need to improve your surfing and buddy system 😙 as each lesson is 2.5hrs, we started out with a surf safety briefing for 10mins then we went on to do beach practicals (learning how to get up on the surfboard) for 20 mins. we then begun surfing for 55mins before going for a 10mins break!! during this time, we chilled by the beach as they had sun beds and bean bags for sunbath as they have a private place on the beach. we ordered 2 coconuts which costed us 50,000 IDR (~SGD $4) 🥥 we then continued surfing before calling it a day! i highly recommend booking your surfing lessons from my surf school on airbnb as they have a full range of lessons catering to every surfing levels at a very affordable price in bali! if you’re looking to book for 4 guests, you’ll be able to enjoy 10% discount and 20% discount for 6 guests!! 🤭 what’s best is that they also provide free transportation to and fro your hotel which is so convenient 🥺 all in all, it was such a fun and fulfilling experience and it was not dangerous at all as i felt so well taken care of by my instructor. everyone there was super friendly and i thoroughly enjoyed the vibes surfing at legian beach 🏝️
