having the fortune to have a visit to the SilverKris lounge, here’s a sort of pictorial documentary about it. It’s all very exciting, going on a trip - and even more so to be going to one of the more ‘exclusive’ lounges. The internet makes it all out to be so amazing, with wonderful unlimited spirits and wines, a wide spread of delectables, you name it.

This lounge is in T3, slightly past the beyond the vines booth. The entrance was also hidden in a corner on the second floor - fancy right!

It’s also quieter than the credit card lounges, which is a huge plus. I could also have my own pick of seats - sofa seats, those with the enclosed nooks and even table seats.

Well, let’s get to the food, because myself was starving. It was a good spread of breakfast items - teochew congee with customisable toppings, hargao, siewmai for the Chinese selection. The western side is the one I managed to take a photo of in my eagerness to grab a bite. The chicken balls in mushroom sauce were heavenly 😍 but the hargao was like your usual mushy questionable prawn dumplings from company catered lunch. Not too bad for lounge food, I’d say.

If you happen to like bakes, there’s even the mini pots of St. Dalfour’s jam and Darbo honey for you to eat :3 perfect for people who love the mini stuff.

I usually skip the alcohols and just get myself some water, so there’s not much from me for the drinks. There’s Tiger Beer, for those who love the local brew.

The one best thing about SQ lounges > they serve you TWG tea!! Huhu, that’s my favourite part about this lounge. I got to try 2 teas: the Paris-Singapore tea (which tastes like mouthwash to me) and the Grand Wedding tea (which is okay, after adding a pinch of sugar).

Nothing too bad for me here, I am happy! It is a good lounge and a good start to a trip 🧡
