How I got $445 round trip flights to Seoul 🇰🇷💸✈️

This is your sign to never fly any other budget airlines to Seoul ever again???? T’way will be the ONLY budget airline I take to Seoul from now on. It is superior to others like AirAsia, Jetstar and even Scoot.

✅ FREE CHECK IN LUGGAGE

Each passenger gets 15kg of check-in baggage AT NO ADDITIONAL COST. Every other budget airline (including Scoot) will charge you at least $45 to include baggage. This free baggage also applies for for short flights! So if you’re traveling from Seoul to Jeju, and vice versa, you get check-in luggage too!!! Honestly such a slay. For sure better than AirAsia and Jetstar.

✅ SPACIOUS

I took a scoot flight from Singapore to jeju and unfortunately got stuck in the last row for six hours… it was so tight and the leg room was abysmal. In fact, it was smaller than the other row on the plane!!!! T’way was so spacious and roomy. I didn’t feel claustrophobic at all. Even J who is a tall lanky person had enough leg room.

✅ FREE SEAT SELECTION

I thought I was gonna get charged when checking in for my flight, but NO. You actually get to choose your seats on the flight!! It’s really rare you get to do that now especially when carriers like SQ, Scoot, AirAsia etc. will charge extra if you want to choose seats. When I was checking in for my flight with T’way, I could just select the seat I wanted at no additional cost. Of course, certain seats will have extra cost like front row.

✅ SEAT CONFIGURATION

They’ve got 2, 3, and 4 seater arrangements! Perfect for couples, families, and friend groups of three. Instead of having one person being left out, or having to share your row with a stranger, T’way has the option of all three configurations on the flight.

✅ VERY HELPFUL STAFF

The ground staff in Seoul were super helpful. We were running slightly late for our flight as the queues to check in were suuuuper long. BUT the silver lining was really when the staff started asking if anyone was boarding the flight to Singapore and allowed all of us late people to go to a separate queue to get checked in.

✅ FOOD ON FLIGHT

On one of my flights via tway I had to order food because I was just TOO HUNGRY. Luckily the prices weren’t that bad. It was only ₩10,000 for the tteokboki with sausage and honestly…it kinda slapped LOL. Maybe because we were hungry but it was pretty good. The portion is perfect for one person, not enough to share. The other food options were also not too expensive, and if you order in advance you can even get more filling dishes like beef bulgogi or beef curry! The water was expensive tho….so PLEASE fill your bottles before boarding the flight. We didn’t have the time to…..

✅ AFFORDABLE

I think for what it’s offering, T’way is super affordable. While there is no inflight meal or entertainment, the price is very reasonable. There’s check-in luggage which would usually be an additional $60-120? I only paid $187.40 for a one way flight from Seoul to Singapore. And by the time of booking, it was already considered “late” as it was only two months in advance from the trip.

⭐️ VERDICT: overall 10000/10 experience. I’m definitely interested in trying their business class flat beds next time! They’re also super affordable as compared to other carriers.
