What I’ve Saved For An Apartment!!

Hii everyone i just started saving for an apartment and i wanted to share how im saving!!

I have envelopes labeled with all the things im trying to save towards for my apartment. Then i’ve made a google sheets to keep track of everytime i add something to an envelope.

For me its hard to save if its in my bank account because then im tempted to spend it. Where as with cash im not tempted to send it. Out of sight out of mind type thing I suppose.

Today I had found some cash I had in my wallet and I decided to add it to some of the envelopes. I saved $9 for my downpayment & $9 for the couch I want.

I’m going to try and post on here everytime I save to show my progress 🫶
