💀READ THIS before you get this type of coaster‼️☕️

When we got our diatomite coasters in a set, we LOVED it so much!!! ❤️💕💙💜💛💚

Because of a few reasons:

😍Aesthetic - it matches our home

😍Super fast absorbing - it absorbs water droplets super well

😍Doesn’t leave a puddle on the coaster - it keeps the table & coaster rly dry

In the first 1-2 months of using this, we had no issues at all. Earlier in the month, we’d gladly RECOMMEND this set of coasters to anyone!

💀 Until recently, ☕️coffee was spilled on one of them and created a mess. The stain (you can see in pic 3) was so deep.

We googled ways to clean or reset a diatomite coaster & found that we could -

leave it under running water 💦, use soap🧼 , or soak🛁 in water if the stain persists.

We tried those diff methods but the stain still wouldn’t come out. The stain did become lighter (yes the one in the pic is alr lighter), but the stain is still visible. 🙈

Hence, we thought of sharing this for awareness about diatomite coasters.

Before buying a diatomite coaster -

🔸 Check its quality (read reviews etc) - there are some brands that produce diatomite items with better reputation in quality

🔸 Diatomite coasters might not be suitable for coloured drinks (in case of spillage)

🔸 Diatomite coasters works well with plain water / non-coloured drinks

How will we rate our diatomite coasters?

Rating /⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐: 3.5 stars

➡️We used to give a resounding YES to recommend these coasters.

➡️But now, we’d say we’d recommend ONLY IF you’re able to take its cons/ close one eye to the potential stain part.

➡️Why? Cos the fast-absorbing feature is rly better than other types of coasters afterall! ✨
