hueplay studio review! 🎨🖌️

been wanting to try out hueplay studio for the longest time!!!! sooo decided to try out their punch needle workshop with my friend recently!! 🫶🏻🫶🏻

☁️ what the workshop is about:

- a modern take on the traditional craft of punch needle embroidery! learn the fundamentals and create highly textured decor and coaster works to bring home, without the need to purchase a whole punch needle kit

☁️ what is provided:

- 20 colours of yarn (they provide the crochet kind of milk yarn!!! super soft and easy to thread through!!!)

- 9.5cm x 9.5cm monk's cloth (1 piece)

- embroidery hoop

- punch needle

☁️ price:

- $58 per pax (3h)

- every additional hour (+$10)

☁️ timeslots:

- 1130am-230pm

- 3pm-6pm

- 630pm-930pm

☁️ difficulty: beginner (perfect for newbies like us hahahahhaha)

☁️ procedure:

- choose yarn colours

- trace out image on light board (they will set up everything for u!)- image can choose from their picture references, or can use ur own oso!

- then they will teach u the needle punching technique!!! (got 3 different techniques)

- then they will secure the monk cloth in the embroidery hoop for u, and u can start needle punching!!!!

- after u finish, they will ask u if u wanna leave the monk cloth in the embroidery hoop (so if u bring home with the hoop, u can display at home!) or u can choose to make it into a coaster instead like what i did! (they will help u cut away the loose threads and glue together to make it into a coaster)

☁️ review:

- super fun and chill process- my friend and i just sat side by side and slowly do and chat hahahha super wholesome and a great bonding activity!!!

- we booked the 3-6pm timeslot, and there was barely any one inside hahah so we had the whole table to ourselves!!!

- super good customer service; staff were v friendly and patient when teaching us! <3

- more than enough time to finish the whole artwork!

- techniques were v easy to learn; rly super beginner-friendly!!!!
