Recently visited vietnam and thought of exploring Dalat since Iβve came across nice pictures and reviews of the place. As I was in Danang, there isnβt any direct domestic flight from Danang to Dalat, so I had to stopover at hcm for an hour before getting on my next flight to Dalat. The flight cost about SGD $220+ which I flew via vietnam airlines.
π Hotel π
Reached Dalat in the evening and checked in to the hotel. I stayed at Le RΓ©cit which is a boutique hotel and located in the Central Area of Dalat. The hotel is cosy and has really nice interior, and has a huge toilet which is almost the size of the room π I paid about SGD 40 for one night in this hotel.
π Dalat Night Market π
The night market was really crowded, filled with locals and tourist (mainly Koreans). There are a few local souvenir shops where you can get some of their local delicacies. Was told that Vietnamβs dried jackfruits are nice so I bagged a big packet home!
ποΈ Crazy House ποΈ
The architecture design here is insane! The buildings are built in odd shapes and I guess thatβs why itβs called Crazy House. Thereβs actually accommodations that you can book to stay here if you want to! But you will expect a lot of people walking around if youβre staying here since itβs a touristy place. This is a nice place to take photos so please visit if youβre here!
π’ Datanla Alpine Coaster π’
One of the attractions that made me wanna visit dalat, itβs this alpine coaster! I saw it on my ig a year ago where someone posted about the ride, itβs a pretty cool ride where you get nice sceneries. You get to control the speed, and thereβs photos taken of you during the ride which you can purchase at USD5 each. This could be a cheaper option as compared to the Switzerland alpine coaster π
βοΈ Khu Vuon Mua He Cafe βοΈ
Managed to visit one cafe during this trip and the whole cafe is so pretty and filled with flowers and plants! They serve cakes and drinks so I stopped her to get some caffeine fixed, and also many photos taken!
π Clay Tunnel π
A place where you get to see amazing and stunning clay sculptures which have rich history of Dalat. I think the entrance fee for this was about ~SGD 2+, and itβs quite a huge place where there are a lot of unique art sculptures for you to explore.
Overall I felt that itβs a nice place to visit if youβre in vietnam, not too long, 2-3days is enough. Food wise, Iβm not a very big fan of Vietnamese food so I wouldnβt comment π₯Ί
