1 yellow onion
2lbs ground turkey
16oz cottage cheese
Abt. 1/2 cup tomato paste
2 cups tomato sauce
2.5 cups of chicken broth (the more you use the soupier it will be)
Salt, pepper, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, oregano
6 broken oven ready lasagna noodles
Abt 2bs Ricotta cheese
1. Dice 1 yellow onion, then add it to an oiled pan and brown.
2. Add 2lbs of ground turkey to the onions and let the meat brown
3. Once the meat is cooked you are going to add all of your seasonings. Salt, pepper, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and oregano. You will add as much as you want until you reach your desired taste.
4. Add blended cottage cheese to the meat mixture and mix together thoroughly.
5. Next, you will add your tomato paste & tomato sauce and mix together until the meat is evenly coated all around.
6. Now you will add your chicken broth. If you want yours to be more of a soupier consistency you can use more chicken broth than I did. If you want it less soupy, then use less chicken broth than me.
7. You will bring everything in the pot to a boil.
8. Once boiling you will add your broken lasagna noodles. Then cover with the lid and let it come to a boil and you will cook until the noodles are softened.
9. Serve, and top with ricotta and your favorite toppings
