I’ve had acne since 7th grade, and I thought it would go away when I became an adult, like everyone said. But my hope started to fade as it continued and eventually became cystic, painful, red, and ultimately scarring.

Embracing my condition was the hardest part, but trust me, it’s the biggest challenge to overcome. 🌸Accepting myself as who I am, no filters, no makeup, was the first step.

🌸Being proactive about my health- what I put in my body that would show externally; The acne routine I had to explore and create.

🌸Time! I had to trust the process, not give up, and know that it would improve.
