I QUIT DRINKING: here is how my life changed

I stopped drinking on my 25th birthday. I woke one day and it was like a switch flipped in my brain. I was done, I hated the way it made me feel, it wasn't supporting my vision, it was not pushing me forward in life and my entire social life was based around drinking and partying, I hated it.

I had been thinking of stopping drinking for years, I went a few months here and there without it but it never stuck because mentally and emotionally I was not ready to. I was attached to that life still and I needed to time to get it out of my system. Once it was time, I felt it and it was one of the best decisions I have made in my entire life. Here is why:

1. it has completely changed my health- physical, mental and emotional

2. more time for new hobbies- I spend my time more intentionally that is for my greater good

3. connection to self- it is almost like quitting alcohol whipped a blurry fog from my eyes. I feel myself and the world more clearly.
