ID Regrets 1/3: NO Chemistry With Our First ID 🥲🚩

It wasn’t a good fit for both sides although I really wanted to make it work… so badly… but sometimes, things don’t work out how you’d like. Writing this post to close off this chapter and to mark a very large learning moment for Ian and I. However, our comments were not meant as a review of any professional firm or individual. What doesn’t work for us, might be perfect for someone else. All about the right fit.

It’s important for us to share this though because for a long time we were concerned about the lack of chemistry but we never heard of friends changing IDs halfway, so we thought maybe we just try very hard to make it work lah… but in hindsight, follow your gut.

P.S. we omitted all company and individual names as these are our thoughts alone and do not act as a review of a firm nor individual. As a close contact of mine is part of this story, I have been very careful from Day 1 and never shared the ID firm name with anyone (no friend, colleague, anyone). I highly respect what they do, and wish everyone well. Chemistry is something you just have or don’t!
